Welcome! I’m Jenna Ledbetter, a passionate mentor and expert in crafting application essays that stand out. With years of personal and professional experience navigating competitive admissions processes, I specialize in helping students tell their unique stories with clarity, authenticity, and impact.
My academic journey has given me firsthand insight into what makes a successful application. I earned my Master of Health Science in Mental Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and receiving recognition from the Delta Omega Honorary Society. My undergraduate career at Pitzer College also culminated in honors in psychology, with an emphasis on research and written communication. These experiences taught me how to craft compelling narratives, highlight achievements, and communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
Professionally, I have worked as an application tutor and consultant, guiding students through the intricacies of essays for boarding school, undergraduate, and graduate school applications, as well as internship searches (focusing on impactful resumes and compelling cover letters). I excel at helping students translate their experiences, achievements, and aspirations into essays that resonate with admissions committees. By combining technical precision and storytelling, I ensure each essay tells a captivating and unique story.
Whether you are writing a personal statement for college, refining a graduate school personal or academic statement, or developing an internship application, I bring a personalized approach tailored to your goals. Together, we will transform your application into a polished and memorable reflection of your unique strengths.
Let’s get started on building your future, one essay at a time!
